Osteoporosis is a global problem, there were an estimated 1.66 million hip fractures world-wide in 1990.  According to the epidemiologic projections, this worldwide annual number will rise to 6.26 million by the year 2050; and yet we have cost effective approaches to early diagnosis and treatments.

We are embarking on a campaign to raise awareness about osteoporosis so that osteoporosis patients can be diagnosed early, treated early to prevent fractures (and the complications of fractures) and achieve a better quality of life.

By working together (patients, clinicians, government agencies and public) we can substantially eliminate avoidable osteoporosis fractures, please join our campaign and help raise awareness about early diagnosis and treatment.
